Fall Out Boy And 50 Cent On Tour
Apr 3rd

This is pretty amazing, reminds of of the good ole Aerosmith / Run DMC days. The best part about 50 Cent and Fall Out Boy playing shows is going to be the diverse crowd. So often we go to shows and we look around and see the same people, this will be a chance for diverse audience to come together and enjoy both types of music – Hip Hop and Pop/Punk. 50 Cent asked Fall Out Boy if they wanted to do some shows this month – He came up with the idea, and we were like, ‘Yeah. Totally. Yeah. Why not?,” front man Patrick Stump said. Fall out boy has been on tour with Paul Wall, so this is not too new to them. However, 50 Cent has never toured with a rock group before. Some Fall Out Boy fans are pretty disgusted with the whole idea of it, but why? I guarantee you all those Fall Out Boy fans will walk out new 50 Cent fans.
We don’t have exact dates yet but news tells us that 50 Cents first tour date with Fall Out Boy is scheduled to be April 14 at Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO.
Coldplay touring US starting in May
Apr 2nd

Kicking off their tour on May 17th in Atlanta, GA, Coldplay will be playing 16 US dates. Will they be playing in your town? The British formed band will than head for Canada for a few dates. On April Fools Coldplay came out with a statement on their site saying that they plan to record their next album not in a traditional studio, but on a modified Boeing 727 aircraft, in zero gravity.
“Later this year, the band will board a modified Boeing, which can provide zero gravity for periods of 20-25 seconds at a time,” a statement on the site read. “Wearing self-designed outfits based on early Russian cosmonaut suits, they will be joined by producer/collaborator Brian Eno, who will use custom-made ‘heavy’ microphones to record the sessions on a 1969 analogue cassette player.”
“We’ve been searching for the right environment to record the perfect snare drum sound for many years now,” Chris Martin added, “and I’ve just got a gut feeling that zero gravity is the place to do that, y’know?”

Nov 18th

When asked why Mötley Crüe chose an unknown band for their new tour in an interview with Rolling Stone, Vince Neil says “Kiss took us out when we were just playing clubs, and then when Ozzy took us out it really broke Mötley Crüe. Those bands took chances on us. So why not give back and take a chance with a new unknown band?” Neil told the Stones reporter that anyone who goes to the concert will be sure to see a lot of “eye candy” and “theatrics”. Motley Crue kicks off their tour with The Last Vegas in early 2009.
