After nearly touring non-stop from 2006 to 2008, 311 is finally back in the studio working on material for their new record. The record is being produced by Bob Rock and is due around mid 2009. Bono says U2 is at an all time high in writing and would hate to end it just to get this new album out. He was quoted as saying “This is our chance to defy gravity once again” in his interview with Rolling Stone. They have haved 50 to 60 songs already written according to Bono. I bet it will be hard to choose the 12-20 for the album out of that many songs. Opinions?
