Sources have been saying that on October 13th at Penn State, Grateful dead will be performing another show as a fundraiser for Barack Obama. “The band including Warren Haynes, Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Mickey Hart” have been getting ready to rehearse in one of the coolest presidential swing states. So many fans have grown attached to the Guitar Hero III along with Rock Band. The question still remains…which it better? The Guitar Hero III allows online play and uses a special guitar shaped controller while Rock Band lets users use either a guitar, drums or microphone. So as you can see they have their similarities but also their differences. Vote for your favorite here.

Thats right you heard it, after a 14 year absence the New Kids On The Block are back. Their new album ” The Block” hit stores this week. Already off to a good start with their big hit “Summertime”. With so much success in the past I’m sure it won’t take these long to get back on the top. The band includes all the original members Jordan Knight, Johnathon Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood. “Yahoo News”

The “Smashing Pumpkins” are at it again with there new song “G.L.O.W.” which will be making its debut on the “Guitar Hero: World Tour”. This will be release with two other songs “1979″ and “The Everlasing Gaze” look for this song to be the new instalment in the all out war between “Guitar Hero” and “Rock Band 2″ its coming our way this fall. “Rolling Stone”
Who is Metro Station?

Metro Station has been blowing up since there debut record. This group of young guys consists of Mason Musso, Trace Cyrus (Miley Cyrus’s Brother), Blake Healy, Anthony Improgo. They started things up less than a year ago and collected thousands of fans on myspace what seems like over night. They were then noticed by Alternative Press earning them #22 for most popular underground bands. Now with there huge release this band has taken over. Tracy says “It’s been less than a year, so I can’t even wait to see where we are at a year from now I remember quitting my job at the mall and thinking, I’m only going to make music with Mason from here on out. That’s what I want to do.” With such great fame so fast its a wonder what these guys will accomplish.
