Hailing from Glasgow, Scottland, Mogwai does not use words in their songs. We are not trying to claim this is the first instrumental band ever to exist, but i would argue their stuff kicks ass. Their music is based off pure emotion that is stretched to audience by the instruments they play. Yes, they test their music on animals to see the responses they get. We think its cool. They are currently on tour in the US and Canada.

Metallica’s new album “Death Magnetic” is #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. The amazing thing about this is their album has only been out for 3 days. They sold nearly a half a million copies in that time frame, putting them up there with The Beatles and U2 in record sales.

Well Metallica fans, it’s finally here, a taste of how the new album is going to look and feel. The war setting in this video makes me think of Metallica’s old classic “One”. In fact at about 5:20 in, you here a guitar riff that sounds a lot like the interlude in One. Anyhow, here it is “The Day That Never Comes” music video. Enjoy and comment below on your impressions.
Update: New Live Footage of “The Day That Never Comes”
The Swedish rockers In Flames will be touring all around the world starting September 27th. They are going to touch soil in America to play a few shows as well, which is always a nice addition. Tickets go on sale September 5th. Where will you be? For all of you that haven’t heard of In Flames I will leave you with their music video for “The Mirrors Truth”
When most people think of Michigan they think of a broke, lazy, and very cold state. What they don’t see is the enormous amount of talent in the mist. We know of a group that stands above the crowd. A band like this is a true diamond in the ruff. You’d expect to see these guys in New York, or maybe California. We found them in good old Detroit, Michigan. The band “Pillar of Autumn” has some serious kick ass songs and got more on the way. Make sure you listen to “Carpe Diem”. Click Here to check them out.

For those of you who haven’t heard of the band Neverset, you are in for some head bobbin. With smashing vocals and guitar riffs that could kill a man on the spot, this band is not one to mess with. They are spending the next few months on tour with three huge acts.
