Blink 182 Summer 2009 Promo Video

This new video entitled “Blink 182 summer 2009″ hit YouTube last week. In the background you’ll hear the music to the song “Violence” from Blink 182′s most recent release. I hope we get as many recording updates as the old days, so far it’s not looking like it. You won’t hear any new songs in this video, you’ll only see a few snippets of the Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus recording with Violence blaring in the background. Most of the video is footage of the bands photo shoot.

We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Mark Hoppus wrote a blog post today talking about how the last two months have been some of the hardest times in his life. With the death of Jerry Fynn, a producer who is very close to both him and the members of blink 182. He also talks about the plane crash that Travis Barker was in and the death of little Chris, who is his dear friend. Towards the end of his post he said that he has recently hung out with Tom and Travis. It had been the first time hanging out with Tom since the split. It was a pretty brutal split up if you aren’t educated on it. Mark and Tom have gone without talking for at least a year and a half. This is big news to Blink 182 fans around the world.
