This video is of Nirvana Bassist Krist Novoselic, doing a bass toss on live TV after his bass amp supposedly went out. Unfortunately for Novoselic, the Bass hits him in the head and he runs off stage. All this in front of thousands of viewers of the MTV 1992 Video Music Awards. Watch the video, this is truly a classic moment.

Time for a first. A first Grammy Nominations Concert that will be broadcast live on CBS on December 3rd. Performances will be by Foo Fighters, John Mayer and B.B. King.

Bon Jovi is just about to come off of their “Lost Highways” tour and they aren’t even phased. They are already writing new material according to guitarist Richie Sambora and will be releasing a DVD of the tour in 2009.

Rock / Metal band Neverset will be playing 4 shows in Texas toward the end of this year. They’ll be hitting up San Antonio, HEB, Tyler, Houston, Dallas. If you haven’t heard them yet, definitely check them out or even better catch them live. They are constantly touring, stay tuned for more announcements.

Recently we told you about Guitar Center’s “Make Rock History” Contest. Well, they FINALLY chose a band to tour with the Crue: The Last Vegas. The Chicago based band also scored management with Tenth Street Entertainment and a record deal with Eleven Seven Music. Motley Crue will begin touring in February 2009.
Uh oh, its the Barenaked Ladies bathroom session on YouTube. This one is an oldie but, a goody from BNL, “One Week.”
