4 Inch Armbands – Great for Rockstars and Athletics
Nov 23rd
I’m sure you’ve seen the lead singer of Metallica rocking out with his armband. Usually the black armband is about 4 to 5 inches and is worn on his forearm. Being a guitarist myself, I think this is an awesome accessory.

Then I realized, athletes wear these 4 inch cotton armbands just like the Metallica front-man. Everyone from basketball to baseball players wear the bands as a way to show team spirit and get rid of sweat. These 4 inch armbands can be bought plain or customized at online shops like STbands. Of course if you didn’t want to buy them, you could always get tickets to a professional basketball game. At the end players will usually throw accessories like armbands and finger bands out to the crowd. Be careful though, it will be drenched with sweat!
Basketball Armbands
Jun 1st
Many basketball players wear arm sleeves and armbands while playing. Normally they pick the color of the basketball armband based on the color of their team.

There are many different colorful armbands available, so matching to your uniform won’t be a problem. A big concern among many players is the material that the bands are made of. Many wonder – is it going to be soft or irritating on my skin? Make sure the armbands you get are majority cotton so they will be nice and comfortable on your skin.
The Main Purpose
The main purpose of armbands for basketball is not to produce some flashy image but rather to take in sweat. Everyone sweats, but no one sweats like athletes – trust me. Our bodies are worked to the max so sweat acts as a cooling system. It is also possible to get armbands embroidered with a logo depending on your needs. This can only be done in bulk unless you do it through a local embroidery shop.
Sweat Armbands – Promo & More!
Jan 11th
These days it can be hard to find a perfect promotional product. You need something that is both easily worn or used and if also cost effective for your organization. Some organizations have a big budget for there promotional items, others (and most) have little to work with. It’s not something to look down on – most of the money probably went towards developing the product and putting money where it belongs in your business. So, with the money you have – how can you get the most out of your promotional efforts?

Good Question.
It’s interesting to ponder the use of promotional armbands as a creative product to help your company spread the word. Sweat armbands have been used by many different types of people and groups – bands, actors, sports athletes, and many more. You apply a logo on armbands by way of embroidery or woven label.

Embroidery is applied directly onto the armbands. Most simple logos can be embroidered easily and with no issues. However, if your design is very complicated than it may need to be applied by woven label.
Woven label is exactly what it sounds like – your logo is woven onto a label and than applied to the armbands in one of two ways. The label is either applied just with adhesive on the back, which is not to good for sporty occasions, or it is applied by way of embroidered edge. The latter is definitely a more sturdy way to do apply a design if it is too complex for embroidery.

Passing Out Promotional Armbands
Passing out armbands for promotion is one of the joys of choosing them as your product. One of the most interesting things you will notice is that people will slip the armbands on right away. Sure, they do the same thing with silicone wristbands and possibly key chains, but let me ask you this – Which can you see better an armband or small plastic wristband? The answer is a sweat armband.
It is very visible, even from a distance. People at an expo may wonder “Where did they get that awesome looking armband?”. You’ll be amazed when people all around your booth (and the expo) are wearing your logo on their arm everywhere they go.
Great For Sporting Events
When it comes to promoting your organization at sporting event, arm sweatbands can be very valuable. Take, for example, a basketball game. What if you teamed up with the team ahead of time to have everyone wear your logo armband? And what if the same armbands that the players on the court are wearing were being passed out to fans as well?
These are just a few ideas to really take advantage of armbands, a promotional product that is both inexpensive, and can do wonders for your event or occasion. Other ways to use these bands are limited only by your imagination. What will you do with sweat armbands?
