Motley Crue On Tour In 2009

Recently we told you about Guitar Center’s “Make Rock History” Contest. Well, they FINALLY chose a band to tour with the Crue: The Last Vegas. The Chicago based band also scored management with Tenth Street Entertainment and a record deal with Eleven Seven Music. Motley Crue will begin touring in February 2009.
Jimmy Eat World Performing ‘Clarity’ On Tour

Jimmy Eat World will be revisit some of their old roots in early 2009. The band will play the 1999 album “Clarity” in it’s entirety on 10 tour dates. Next year marks the albums 10 year anniversary, which seems to have flew by very quickly. They are playing the following places:

311 In Studio, new album due in 2009

After nearly touring non-stop from 2006 to 2008, 311 is finally back in the studio working on material for their new record. The record is being produced by Bob Rock and is due around mid 2009. If you gotta get some 311 gear, they have a huge special going on from today until December 31st. Check it out here.
Aerosmith’s New Album to be out in 2009

Aerosmith already has most of the music tracks for the new album recorded, according to guitarist Brad Whitford. Throughout 2008 Aerosmith has been dealing with various health issues, but they are ready to make a strong come back in 2009. Frontman Steven Tyler spent time in a rehabilitation clinic in California earlier this year for leg injuries, but is doing much better now.
