New Linkin Park Album in 2009
Oct 28th

Chester Bennington, of Linkin Park, told Billboard that they are planning a conceptual record for 2009. My guess is that it will probably be out by late 2009. No need to worry though, Benningtion is coming out with a solo album within a few months (should be early 2009). He will be touring to promote the solo album, but notes that it will not get in the way of the new Linkin Park album.

New U2 Album Pushed to 2009
Sep 5th
Bono says U2 is at an all time high in writing and would hate to end it just to get this new album out. He was quoted as saying “This is our chance to defy gravity once again” in his interview with Rolling Stone. They have haved 50 to 60 songs already written according to Bono. I bet it will be hard to choose the 12-20 for the album out of that many songs. Opinions?
New Nickelback Album Coming in November
Sep 5th

Nickelback’s new album will be hitting shelves on November 18th. Their first single off the album will be on your radio starting September 30th and is entitled “If Today Was Your Last Day”. I wonder if we will here a new sound on this album compared to passed albums, Nickelback is usually really good at keeping it fresh.
New U2 songs LEAKED! Bono blasts his neighbors ears off.
Aug 19th

Alright so the hot word on the street is that Bono was jamming out to U2′s upcoming album in his house in France when one of their fans recorded 4 songs that have not been heard by the public yet. The fan than uploaded the choppy recordings to YouTube. Of course due to copyright infringements galore, the videos of the recordings vanished in thin air. Bono is very secretive about new music normally, so people online have been ragging on him about getting a pair of headphone, and this, and that. I think you should leave the guy alone, he can jam out to his music whenever he wants. The problem here starts with the crazed fan.

Turn things up with “The Dry Leaf Project”
Mar 20th
This group of guys knows how to turn things up. They come straight to you from Westland, Michigan. Where they get the party started. If you haven’t had a chance to see them live nows the time. We recently had the chance to ask them a few questions to help you get to know them a little better.
First we gotta know, where did you come up with the name “Dry Leaf Project”
-The Dry Leaf Project means absolutely nothing, which people seem to find hilarious. It was just an inside joke that the original band members came up with one day. Our old drummer, Josh, was thinking of band names and he’s like “ I only think up crappy emo names like ‘the dry leaf project’” and we all laughed and thought that name sucked. And then about a year later when the band started, we just used that. Funny story.
I have to say the song “Squeaky Clean Slate” is absolutely amazing, what does it stand for?
-Squeaky Clean Slate is just a song about change. It’s about making a stepping-stone in your life, and starting a new beginning.
What’s it like having a band with only 2 main members?
-Having 2 members is fun, because we’ve been best friends and next-door neighbors for fifteen years. It’s weird though. When people think of The Dry Leaf Project they think of Matt, and me but we really have four members that play with us live. More >
