Perfume maker sues musician Prince

Prince is apparently getting sued by a perfume maker, who in the past went into business with him. It all starts with princes 2006 album “3121″ The fragrance was actually named after the album. Apparently the perfume company is charging Prince because he did not promote the perfume at all. Not a shocker
Stabbing At Urban Music Awards

MTV UK reports that one man was stabbed and two others injured at the Urban Music Awards on Saturday night. The award ceremony took place within the O2 arena. No more details are available at this time.
The Beatles Will Release a “Lost 14-minute Track”

Paul McCartney told BBC Radio that he believe the time has come to release a song recorded in 1967, that some thought didn’t even exist. The 14 minute song, “Carnival of Light”, is a psychedelic sounding song that McCartney describes as “The Beatles Free”. Paul is currently getting permission from Ringo Starr and the Estate of John Lennon and George Harrison to release the track. We will keep you posted on when this song will be released.
Kid Rock to spend New Years in Vegas

Nothing spells a good time in Las Vegas like seeing Kid Rock perform live at the Palms Hotel and Casino on New Year’s Eve. He will be performing at 10:30pm on December 31st and tickets start at $150.

Bon Jovi is just about to come off of their “Lost Highways” tour and they aren’t even phased. They are already writing new material according to guitarist Richie Sambora and will be releasing a DVD of the tour in 2009.

Motley Crue On Tour In 2009

Recently we told you about Guitar Center’s “Make Rock History” Contest. Well, they FINALLY chose a band to tour with the Crue: The Last Vegas. The Chicago based band also scored management with Tenth Street Entertainment and a record deal with Eleven Seven Music. Motley Crue will begin touring in February 2009.
Twilight Movie Soundtrack hits number 1 spot

It’s not usual for a Soundtrack to hit number 1 on the charts, but lately it has been the standard. This year alone “Juno” and “Mamma Mia!” have both hit the top spot on the billboard 200. No big deal, right? Well it wouldn’t be if it didn’t knock AC/DC’s “Black Ice” out of the number 1 spot.

Jimi Hendrix Drummer Mitch Mitchell Dies

62 year old Mitch Mitchell, who was the drummer for the Jimi Hendrix Experience, was found dead this morning in his Portland, Oregon hotel room. “We’re all devastated to hear of Mitch’s passing,” says Experience Hendrix CEO Janie Hendrix.
