Breaking Bands – Dream in Stereo

Dream In Stereo, a band that hails from Southeast Michigan, really give their all when it comes to live shows and writing music. Their upbeat pop-punk style music is enough to make anyone want to dance. They are currently working on recording vocals for some songs that will be on their MySpace as soon they are complete. I talked to Dream In Stereo, read the interview below.
So, what’s the history of Dream in Stereo? How long have you guys officially been together, how’d you all meet?
The lineup that we have as of now has been together since June. Ryan and Anthony were in the “original” Dream In Stereo and then they dropped the old drummer and guitarist and picked up Blake and Eric. This has been the line up so far.
What’s your writing process? Is it always this way?
We all sit down and throw together our basic ideas and then leads are written, then we just practice and do touch ups. It’s not always this way though.
Do you use any FX at your live shows? If so what kind?
Nope.
What would your dream show be, if you could play with any band at any venue?
Blake- Warped Tour
Anthony- Blink-182 at the Hayloft
Eric- Warped Tour
Ryan- Senses Fail anywhere
If The Dream in Stereo could do one thing to change the world, what would it be?
Party.
Anyone got a favorite TV show or movie?
Superbad excluding Eric who likes American Beauty.
Would you like to tell any of your fans anything special that’s going on?
We’re announcing our new vocalist, recording our EP in October, playing shows for the rest of the year, and keep an eye out for us coming to your town on tour this spring.

Metallica New Alblum on Death Magnetic Coming Soon

The awaited new cd Death Magnetic by Metallica is coming out Friday. The wait has seemed unbearable for true Metallica fans since its been five years since a release from these guys. Don’t worry this should be the start of something, their far from over consider this new start.
Noel Gallagher from Oasis was assaulted

After making it a little past the half way point of the Virgin Festival, Noel Gallagher from Oasis was assaulted. Out on Toronto Olympic Island the British band member was rushed up on while back stage, Noel was pushed back and caused him to tumble over his speakers. The man accused of the incident was Daniel Sullivan who was quickly apprehended by security. Daniel was released from custody but is expected to appear in court on October 24th. Noel was taken to the hospital after the show for a suspected fracture to his ribs from the fall. “Yahoo News”
Grateful Dead will play for Barack Obama

Sources have been saying that on October 13th at Penn State, Grateful dead will be performing another show as a fundraiser for Barack Obama. “The band including Warren Haynes, Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Mickey Hart” have been getting ready to rehearse in one of the coolest presidential swing states. New Kids On The Block return with a new album

Thats right you heard it, after a 14 year absence the New Kids On The Block are back. Their new album ” The Block” hit stores this week. Already off to a good start with their big hit “Summertime”. With so much success in the past I’m sure it won’t take these long to get back on the top. The band includes all the original members Jordan Knight, Johnathon Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood. “Yahoo News”
Smashing Pumpkins – G.L.O.W. on Guitar Hero: World Tour

The “Smashing Pumpkins” are at it again with there new song “G.L.O.W.” which will be making its debut on the “Guitar Hero: World Tour”. This will be release with two other songs “1979″ and “The Everlasing Gaze” look for this song to be the new instalment in the all out war between “Guitar Hero” and “Rock Band 2″ its coming our way this fall. “Rolling Stone”
