Copper Bracelets for Arthritis
Feb 11th

Arthritis is a brutal, uneasy condition that many of us suffer from, but it can be tamed. Many scientists and sufferers of arthritis believe that copper could be the answer to the painful condition. It is known that lack of copper leads to weaker bones and joints, which in turn can give one arthritis over the course of their life.
Can Copper Bracelets Help?
There have been a few studies that show a decrease in pain when wearing copper bracelets. Many skeptics think this is most likely a placebo effect, but there is no proof either way. What we do know is that copper can be taken in by the body transdermally, which means it can be absorbed and entered via your skin. This is why copper bracelets can be a powerful health tool if you do have arthritis.
A Bracelet For Copper That May Help
The Dealon Copper Bracelet, which is produced in Ireland, is made of actual copper. Many bracelets floating around claim to be copper, but are just an imitation of the real thing. This is problematic on many levels because you have a bunch of fake bracelets going around. It’s important to make sure that your bracelet is actual copper, and there are a few ways to tell.
Is It Real Copper?
With so many bracelets floating around, here are two ways to find out if the one your wearing is the real deal.
- Find a magnet and hold it up to your bracelet, if it is magnetic it is NOT copper. Copper is not magnetic period, so don’t let anyone tell you that it is.
- Copper, by nature, has a darkish red / orange look to it, which overtime may even turn yellowish. If you are ok with cleaning your copper bracelet, do so and hold it up to a United States one cent coin, which is made of copper. The color should be just about the same.

Sweatbands – Personalized With Your Logo or Plain
Jan 17th

These days there are a lot of products that can be customized with your logo. One of the coolest, sporty products is sweatbands. The great thing about sweatbands is they are easy to slip on and wear right when you receive them. A lot of musicians use sweat wristbands for a new type of product to sell at their booth. A lot of organizations are finding creative uses for customizing sweatbands including schools, charities, start up companies and more.
There are 3 main types of sweatbands: Wristbands, Headbands and Armbands. In the photo above you see a personalized wristband that has an embroidered logo. This is one of the most common ways to customize sweatbands. The second most common way, and one that is popular with a lot of musicians, is sweat armbands. Your logo can also be applied to armbands. The main difference between armbands and wristbands, is simply length. Many guitarist wear armbands as a fashion statement on their wrist. The third way, and one of the most creative ways is headbands. Many volleyball, basketball and tennis players wear headbands to soak up their sweat during the game. After all it can get pretty intense during some sports.
Sweat Armbands – Promo & More!
Jan 11th
These days it can be hard to find a perfect promotional product. You need something that is both easily worn or used and if also cost effective for your organization. Some organizations have a big budget for there promotional items, others (and most) have little to work with. It’s not something to look down on – most of the money probably went towards developing the product and putting money where it belongs in your business. So, with the money you have – how can you get the most out of your promotional efforts?

Good Question.
It’s interesting to ponder the use of promotional armbands as a creative product to help your company spread the word. Sweat armbands have been used by many different types of people and groups – bands, actors, sports athletes, and many more. You apply a logo on armbands by way of embroidery or woven label.

Embroidery is applied directly onto the armbands. Most simple logos can be embroidered easily and with no issues. However, if your design is very complicated than it may need to be applied by woven label.
Woven label is exactly what it sounds like – your logo is woven onto a label and than applied to the armbands in one of two ways. The label is either applied just with adhesive on the back, which is not to good for sporty occasions, or it is applied by way of embroidered edge. The latter is definitely a more sturdy way to do apply a design if it is too complex for embroidery.

Passing Out Promotional Armbands
Passing out armbands for promotion is one of the joys of choosing them as your product. One of the most interesting things you will notice is that people will slip the armbands on right away. Sure, they do the same thing with silicone wristbands and possibly key chains, but let me ask you this – Which can you see better an armband or small plastic wristband? The answer is a sweat armband.
It is very visible, even from a distance. People at an expo may wonder “Where did they get that awesome looking armband?”. You’ll be amazed when people all around your booth (and the expo) are wearing your logo on their arm everywhere they go.
Great For Sporting Events
When it comes to promoting your organization at sporting event, arm sweatbands can be very valuable. Take, for example, a basketball game. What if you teamed up with the team ahead of time to have everyone wear your logo armband? And what if the same armbands that the players on the court are wearing were being passed out to fans as well?
These are just a few ideas to really take advantage of armbands, a promotional product that is both inexpensive, and can do wonders for your event or occasion. Other ways to use these bands are limited only by your imagination. What will you do with sweat armbands?
Sweatbands For Construction
Jan 6th

When your out nearly all day at a construction site things can get pretty sweaty. All that sweat can drip down into your eyes, which can affect your vision and also burn. If you are working the high beams you can not afford to have blurred vision. Good news! There are sweatbands that can fit right under your hard hat. The main one that we know about is Sweat GUTR, which is a very thin sweat band that acts like a gutter for your head.

Just as the gutter on your house re-directs rain to a drain – the GUTR headband re-directs your sweat away from your eyes. Construction sweatbands are great for making your construction job less of a hassle by keeping that burning liquid out of your face!
Sports Wristbands to Raise Funds
Jan 3rd
Fundraisers these days can be quite tricky if one doesn’t know how to present them correctly. It should be noted that there are two kinds of fundraisers. The first is for a personal or group event that’s happening sometime in the near future. The second is fundraising for a solution to a problem(such as breast cancer, climate change, and so on).
One thing that is good to understand up front is the idea that people will not buy your sports wristbands because the team wants to go to Florida at the end of the year. Yes, initially a few parents will support this way of raising funds, but it will not appeal to the outside public. However, if one of your teammates has been diagnosed with a disease than people will give to the cause and be happy to receive a sports wristband. So lets go over some ideas.
Personal or Group Fundraising Wristbands
So your basketball team wants to go to Florida in 5 months because a huge event is happening down there that equally interests everyone on the team. The first thought you have is to buy some custom items to sell as a fund raiser. After buying 300 sports wristbands you might realize that people think they are awesome looking but they have no incentive to buy them. This is a typical problem in most group or personal fund raising acts.
So, what do you do? Well, you must give the people an incentive to buy. The easiest way to do this is normally in a high school environment. Two people from your basketball team should go around at the same time every few days and present the sports wristbands to classes. Tell them the class that buys the most will get a pizza party or free day as a reward. This drives competition between the classes, makes students happy because they have a cool sports wristband, and gives you the funds you need to get to Florida.
Sports Wristbands for a Solution
When you are raising funds for a solution to a problem that everybody cares about than it is much easier to sell sports wrist bands. Say for instance someone on the team needs an operation but they can’t afford it you will see some amazing things start to happen. We are tribal by nature, so when one of our own is hurt, it is phenomenal to see people come together around a common cause. Again having customized sports sweatbands is really a nice bonus to give to someone who has donated to a cause. It’s great because once a few people start wearing them you will notice people asking where they got them. All of a sudden everyone is donating and the operation can now be easily paid for. This is the magic of a successful fundraiser.
These ideas can be applied to any category, not just sports. I hope this helps you with your fund raising planning.
Unique Bracelets for Sports
Dec 14th
There have been a wide variety of sports bracelets that have popped up in the last few years. Everything from power balance to iRenew, they continue to come.

A Group of athletes wearing balance wristbands.
One can’t help but wonder what makes these bracelets so popular. The short answer is the word of mouth going around. The long answer is the technology inside these bracelets actually work. Most balance bracelets have a hologram with thousands of algorithms programmed in it. These frequencies interact positively with your body’s natural energy field. This is really the center piece of the technology. The rest of the bracelet is either made of neoprene or silicone, which is only a way to wrap it around your wrist. Many celebrities use these bracelets:

Lose The Sweat – Halo Headbands
Sep 20th

When you are playing your favorite sports the last thing you want to worry about is sweat. I mean, it really gets annoying! Not to mention it burns when it gets in your eyes and can cause vision problems on the court.
So there are a few ways to control this nasty, gooey thing we call sweat.
The first is cotton sweat headbands and wristbands.
These work pretty good in most cases. The cotton will soak up the sweat before it can reach your eyes or hands. If you are sweating profusely than eventually these cotton bands will be overloaded.
The next option would be to use the Halo Headband.

The Halo Headband have technology within them that blocks sweat from rolling down into your eyes. This is especially important if your sport requires a high level of hand / eye coordination. These headbands use dryline fabric which evaporates sweat quickly so you stay dry and comfortable. It’s made in a double layer so it will not lose its shape or form. The newest type of headband from Halo is the Halo II Headband. Unlike the first one it is self-fitting and there is no tie.
Many athletes take advantage of the Halo II Headband, including:
- Biking
- Lacrosse
- Basketball
- Hiking
- Tennis
Those are just a few of the many sports or activities that the Halo Headband would compliment.
In extreme cases, the third option would be to pay a visit to your doctor. Also, there is no reason to be ashamed of sweating a lot. Everyone sweats it is a natural thing, some people do it more than others.
