Metallica To Be Two-Bassist Band At Hall Of Fame

Metallica will be performing at their Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 4th, which is sure to be an amazing show. The only twist is they will be performing with two bassist: Jason Newsted and Robert Trujillo. It has been known about a week now that Newsted was going to be performing with the band and Trujillo was going to take the sidelines. A spokesman for the group’s label, Warner Bros. Records, clarified that “Jason and Robert will both be playing Metallica’s induction songs.” My guess is Newsted realised that he doesn’t know any of the new songs while Trujillo is near perfect coming off a tour. Will they both be on stage together or separately? I say Newsted for the old and Trujillo for the new, it’s obvious! Tune into Fuse this Saturday to see how this plays out with the bands performance.
